Our initiatives in Pictures

Our NGO – Jai Baba Kamalahiya Aradhana – is appointed as Implementing Support Agency (ISA) under the “Jal Jeevan Mission” Project on 17th July, 2020 for awareness and doing Survey, PRA activities in the entire Himachal Pradesh with multi district and their blocks on panchayat levels. Our team visited every panchayat to do assessment of (FTKs) with panchayat members ward members, communities and providing them training on benefit of the water and how to prevent our existing water sources. Also, the team visited every ward on grass root level to check out the existing water sources condition, monitoring and performing water testing too.

Activities Done

  • Plantation of tree at gram panchayat Amroh, Bhoranj, Hamirpur.
  • Organized awareness camp on POSCO Act 2012 ( Beti Bachao Beti Padao)
  • Awareness Programme on Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
  • Tree Plantation Programme organized for students of government school.

  • Blood Donation Camp organized in collaboration with Health department in Hamirpur district
  • Awareness camp organized on Disaster Management
  • Major HealthCare activities include blood donation camps, healthcare camps and mental health programs.
  • For Environment awareness we regularly do plantation activities and save forest campaigns.
  • We are currently providing training for Basic Disaster Management in 6 Blocks of Hamirpur District.
  • For Women Empowerment we organized Sensitization Awareness Campaigns
  • Education Awareness activities include painting competitions, save water campaigns in schools and career counseling for higher education.

Government & other projects

Jal Jeevan Mission, is envisioned to provide safe and adequate drinking water through individual household tap connections by 2024 to all households in rural India. The programme will also implement source sustainability measures as mandatory elements, such as recharge and reuse through grey water management, water conservation, rain water harvesting.

We as an NGO is impaneled with Jal Jeevan Mission for Implementing Support Agency (ISA) under the “Jal Jeevan Mission” Project from 17th July, 2020 for awareness and doing Survey, PRA activities in the entire Himachal Pradesh with some district and their blocks on panchayat levels.

  • Our skilled team collect the data through PRA exercise in every panchayat.
  • The team visited every ward on grass root level to check out the existing water sources condition, monitoring and performing water testing too.

  • Training provided on benefit of the water and how to prevent our existing water sources.
  • We covered 7 districts (Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Mandi, Kullu, Shimla, Kangra & Chamba), 11 blocks, 300 Panchayats, 1,800 GP wards, 1,411 Revenue Villages, 3,000 PRI Members, 1,35,000+ House Survay and made aware 3,00,000+ population about water and further assigned activities
